Doors and Doorways: Part 2

I would like to add some doors and doorways from the other side of the world for Sylvia’s Lens Artists Challenge #204 Doors and Doorways.

Tomb of Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi.
Monkey gods near Angkor Cambodia

A floating house on the Mekong river near Phnom Phen

The Palace in Phnom Phen
Buddhist monks at their studies.
Killing fields memorial. This is a memorial to a very dark chapter in Cambodian history. Through this doorway are stacked the skulls of those who were killed during the Pol Pot regime.

I seem to be ending my doors and doorways posts with skulls. But that was not intentional. I love doors and doorways.Thank you Sylvia for this challenge. Finally, just for a change of scene, here is a horse from the carved wall of the main temple at Angkor Wat.

I appreciate the contrast between the humble hearts of a home to the grandest of ornate palaces.

A felt a shiver while looking into the doors opening to the Killing Fields Memorial.

The memorial is quite distressing. At least it was for me. Thanks for commenting.
