“The difficult is hard, the impossible just a little harder.“
This is a quote of Marcus Wertheim. I read this in the book by Jane Goodall and Douglas Abrams “The Book of Hope”. One chapter is devoted to the indomitable human spirit. This is one of Goodall’s reasons for thinking that we can have hope for the future. Her other reasons are the amazing human intellect, the resilience of nature, the power of young people.
Next time I think that what I am trying to do is hard I will remember it is only a bit less difficult than the impossible!
