Bliss: perfect happiness; great joy
Oxford Dictionary
This week Lindy Low LeCoq has given us the photo challenge of Bliss. It will surprise no one, who knows me and my blog, to see these photos taken on the forest trails with Biasini. This for me, and I think for Biasini, is bliss. We have had days of lessons in the arena and Coach Belinda putting us through our paces. So it was time for something different .We have had the first snowfall of the winter. Not too much just a skiffer . But enough to show up the coyote tracks along the paths we chose. They like the trails too!

Biasini enjoyed our walk in the snow. He has snow pads and corks on his front shoes so he is quite sure footed in the snow. As we headed back to the barn he slowed down to a very slow walk. I think he was sorry our trail ride was over.
Thank you Lindy for this challenge. It is nice to respond to a challenge that is uplifting and happy. If you would like to see other responses to this challenge click here .
Nice trail. Makes me want to bike it!

There’s something almost spiritually ecstatic about being out on a beautiful trail with a beloved horse. As if you’re the only two living creatures in the world! Bliss is the perfect word!

Who doesn’t enjoy a forest trail – and the snow makes it soft and quiet. No wonder Biasini slowed down.

For us this is later than usual. We often have snow earlier in November. I am looking forward to Florida🙂

Fresh powder, top to bottom, the best snow for a trail ride. The worst, new snow over old snow.
