Street Art LAPC #170

This week’s challenge from Patti at Pilotfishblog is Street Art. Here are some views of street art in the East London Borough of Hackney.

This may fall more into the category of Graffiti but it is street art nonetheless.

Just this week I found some delightful street art right on the main street of the town near where we live.

Each of these little “pet rocks” had been painted and placed beneath the tree.

Here is a closer look at the rocks and the sign that explains them.

As you can see the “pet rock garden” is at the base of a tree. But not just any old tree. This tree has a face.

It looks like best tree party ever, awesome idea. It is amazing the talent of some of these gravity dudes, it’s a shame they aren’t employed to pretty up a wall but nice they do it or free. I love the Soho street corner & the Vancouver chandelier.
