Summer Soccer…It’s a Wrap!

Summer soccer is at an end. On the final Saturday two games were played by our Grandson’s team. Team White.

The goalie is wearing a pink tunic to identify him as the Team White goalie. Team White #3 is our Grandson.
Number 3 is moving in to get a kick on that ball.
Go! Go! Go! #3 is racing to help defend Team White’s goal.
The #2 of Team Orange is about to try to score a goal. But the Team White Goalie is ready to get that ball. And#3 White Team is ready to kick it away as well.
It’s a wrap! The soccer season is over. Team White players all got a medal and a small soccer ball. The scores for both matches were very close. I’m not sure who won what. Needless to say we were pulling for Team White! Our Grandson told us his team won the first match and lost the second match. But it was close! We were impressed with how much all these young players had improved over the summer. It was a great day for parents and grandparents.

    Oh too fun. What a proud little treasure & so he should be. It is amazing to see how they improve over time. I used to watch my friends kids play & it was adorable watching them all bump into each other to start with. Great photos.

      He is quite character and he loves the soccer. The kids at first were, as you say, all over the place but not they have an idea of what their job is on the team and how to accomplish it. I loved the fact that the girls on both teams were fearless and could take on any of the boys.

      He really enjoys it. Also he has some moves (when he falls he just rolls with it) that he brings from gymnastics. It’s fun to watch these kids.
