Biasini Speaks: About Blossoms

Hello Dear Humans. I heard from Ma Leueen that one of the other bloggers she follows has a photo challenge that features what you Humans call Flowers. It is called the Flower of the Day She says if you click on that you can see the flowers. Well, Dear Humans, I don’t call them Flowers. I call them Blossoms. I told Ma Leueen I would like to have her take some photos of the blossoms I like and they could be part of the challenge. I’m going to call it the Blossom of the Day challenge. Here is one I asked her to take today when we were coming back from a walk in the forest.

I like all those bright yellow blossoms. Ma Leueen says they are called Golden Rod. She also said they are weeds. But I don’t care about that . I like them.

And the other blossoms that I asked her to take a photo of are right outside my stall window. I love these blossoms. They are called Boo Ghan Villy Ah. Ma Leueen offered to spell that for me but I said I could spell it so the Humans reading this would know what it was. I think these blossoms are beautiful. Don’t you?

Here is another photo that shows you what a nice view I have . I can see all the cars that come in and go out. So I know who is arriving or leaving. I can also see Barn Manager Carl’s wife Emilee when she drives up the hill to their house.

Ma Leueen says these blossoms do not grow here in Ontario. She says they would not survive the winter and they have to be taken inside so they can stay warm. I know that these blossoms grow in Florida. I am hoping we are going there this winter. I think I may be like these blossoms . I like warmer weather.

Till next time Dear Humans.

Hi Biasini, tell your Mom that you love your view of the boo ghan villy a (in San Diego where these grow WILD, we said boogan-vee-a). I do miss those plants so you are lucky to have such a pretty blossom to look at!

Hello Terri. I’m glad you also like these blossoms. And thanks for taking the time to stop by and say hello.🐴

Ma Leueen is correct about the bougainvillea not growing in Ontario. I used to have tons of it in California and was constantly cutting it back. It also is covered with long thorns, making the job even more difficult. But very pretty, yes!
My old Thoroughbred Billy didn’t consider some plants he found along the roadside to be either flowers or blossoms, just good horse food–a bunch of weeds with blossoms that look like purple daisies. I found a picture of them online and I think they’re chicory. When I see them bloom in late August/early September I always remember him. He was also very fond of dandelions in spring. Do you get to feast on dandelions too?

What a glorious view you have, Biasini! I must say, this is one of my favourite photos now . . . the one of you looking out on the pink flowers (I’m not even going to try to spell it, lol). You won’t see many of those in England where I live! We have plenty of Golden Rod though, and I don’t care either that they are classed as weeds. Both you and I know, they are all blossoms. 😊🌼

Thank you for this comment Lesley Human. Those pink blossoms don’t grow here either but if they are taken indoors in the winter they can survive.

I Love your view Biasini, the blossoms are beautiful! The trail ride with golden rods are beautiful too. I hope you’ll be able to go to Florida this winter as I’m with you and like warmer weather. ❤️🐴🥕

Thank you Diana Human. Warm weather is nice isn’t.. I had lots of blankets that Ma Leueen got for me last winter but I still felt cold. The only thing I liked was going out onto the forest trails in the snow. That was fun. Ma leueen tells me you live in a warm place. Nice! 🐴

Biasini you have such beautiful flowers to see from everywhere. Do you call out hello when you see whomans coming & going. Boo ghan villy ahs, is the perfect name for those flowers as here in oz trail lea (Australia whoman spelling) snakes like to live in boo ghan villy ahs & go boo at any one who passes by. I hope you get to travel further soon.

Hello again Working Human. I am glad we don’t have any snakes in the blossoms here. They might come into my stall! Thanks for your comment.🐴

Hello Biasini – I like golden rod too.

And I think what actually is making people sneeze is the rag weed. Golden rod has a faint spicy scent when you walk through it, which I find pleasant and not sneezy. Glad you’re enjoying the blossoms!

      1. anne leueen Avatar

I think you are correct Robert Human. Ma Leueen looked up the Golden rod and she found that it is ragweed that makes people sneeze. Thanks for adding this comment. 🐴

Thank you Robert Human. It is a nice bright color I think 🐴
