Hello Dear Humans! I am very well and I hope the same for you. In this blob post Ma Leueen will be speaking too. I have a video for you and she told me that she would do some speaking on it to let you know where we were. I agreed and said that was OK. So here it is.
I was feeling quite energetic on that day. Spring has arrived but on that day it was still cool. She surprised me when we turned onto the Goat Trail because we usually get onto it from a different direction. But she is right when she says I always enjoy that trail.
I have a funny story to tell you. As we were going back to the barn we saw two other Humans. They had a retriever canine with them. The Man Human asked Ma Leueen if she knew where some other trail was. She told him in detail. I knew the trail she was directing them to. Then the Man Human said that they had parked their car on the road and told Ma Leueen which road it was. Ma Leueen said they were heading away from the road where their car was. The Man Human said that he knew how to get back to the road and started walking. He was going in the wrong direction. I may be a horse but I have a terrific sense of where I am and where I have come from. I knew where the road was and I knew Ma Leueen was right. Ma Leueen did not correct the man and we rode on. Later she laughed a bit and said that those Humans would be walking a long time and might end up on a completely different road. She then told me that some Humans cannot be told which way to go and she did not want to get into an argument with that Man Human and spoil a nice spring walk with me in the forest. Here is a photo of the trail just after we met up with the two Humans. You can see we are out in the forest. Who knows maybe those humans will meet up with a bear! I know there are sometimes bears in the forest. I can smell them. Yes, I can and I won’t go on trails where I smell bears. Ma Leueen knows that.
I have been working very hard with Ma Leueen on dressage stuff. She got me a new girth. It looks funny and it’s called a donut girth. I always thought donuts were something Humans ate. Sometimes there are some at the barn. They come in Red boxes from a place called Tim Hortons. Ma Leueen likes them. As for the donut girth she told me it’s to make my chest more comfortable. It does make it feel much better when I am working.
