Hello Dear Humans! We had a day this week when it snowed! Yes! that was a shock for we horses. But I suspected it was going to be cold because Ma Leueen had put a warmer blanket on me the day before and when Therapy Person Lori put on my blanket for going out there was a neck collar on it. After breakfast we went out. My friend Touchie and me go out together .We have paddocks next to one another. And we both were surprised by the snow.
“What’s up with this snow? ” I said to Touchie.
“It’s not right, Beebs. ” he replied. “Not right at all. ”
Well like it or not we had snow. I was warm enough but I like it better when it’s not cold and we can be out without blankets on. After awhile Touchie came over to my side of his paddock.
“Hey Beebs lets play get the halter off. “
“OK Touchie, I’ll get your halter off. “
“Oh come on Beebs ,you know we can’t do that. Super Groom Lexi will be some pissed off with me if she has to look through the snow for my halter. But your Ma Leueen will be more understanding. “
“You could be right Touchie.”
“Ok! Lets start.”
“I’ve almost got it Beebs.”
“No !Touchie ! that’s my lip! Ouch!”
“Oops! Sorry. I’ll try again. Yes…I’ve got it. Pull your head back and the halter will come off.”
“I am pulling but it’s not budging. ”
“Darn! I almost had it off.”
“Touchie , look out! I see Super Groom Lexi and she’s taking a phone photo of us. “
“Uh Oh! Ok, just pretend we are having a conversation”
So that was the end of our game. And no halters were removed. But there is always tomorrow Dear Humans!
