I wish all of you good health and peace for the New Year!
Rupali at mazeepuran (माझे e-पुराण) was nominated by fellow blogger Derrick Knight to post one favourite travel picture a day for ten days without explanation, then to nominate someone else to participate. Instead of nominating one person each day Rupali invited everyone to participate. I decided to take up the challenge! Naturally, all of my photos will be horse related and all will be from places I have travelled to.
This picture looks so different to me, an animal at grass can be a nature surrounded place but this place is surrounded by big buildings. Thanks for sharing

This is a very unique situation. It is in Thamesmead East London. There are horses that graze there belonging to the “travelers’ ( tinkers or gypsys) they graze them on the grass and also feed them grain or hay cubes in big buckets. They are quite well looked after. The travelers live in the buildings nearby.

Well I see there’s a lot of hitching rails, so apparently a “Condos for Ponies” development, that’s a great idea. Best wishes for the new year, Anne! Cheers, RPT

Almost! That little horse is owned by a “traveler”. There are a lot of horses in this development that just graze on the grassy areas and the travelers who own them also give them grain or hay cubes and look after them pretty well.

Just as an aside don’t be concerned about the little horse in the photo. He belongs to a “traveller” and in Thamesmead just east of London they have their horses grazing on the grass and also they give them a grain or hay cube feed as well. They also get their feet done and are brushed etc.So they are well looked after.
