FOTD Red Hibiscus

I previously posted the pink Hibiscus and now here is our red one. HUGE flowers on this plant six to eight inches in diameter!

Yesterday when I was leaving home I looked over at the hibiscus and I had to stop and take a photo with my phone.

What an amazing display! They get regular watering and some liquid fertilizer, a couple of times a month, but not anything too special and look how they reward us.

This is my response to Cee’s Flower of the Day photo challenge.

I’m glad you liked the photos. The flowers are so lovely but today we have very strong winds and rain so they are all closed up.

Wow! I’d say you’ve got yourself a new hat!

Sadly each bloom only lasts for one day so I would have to replace my hat daily. But thanks for the suggestion. 😃
