The Canada Goose. I’m sure they are known the world over. Well here in Canada during the CV19 crisis the Federal Government have put them to work! Yes! In the countryside it is hard for the local police forces to maintain a vigilance over those people who have returned to Canada from abroad. They may not be observing their 14 day isolation that is required by Federal Law now. So the geese have been enlisted. Today David and I walked down our road for quite a distance. That was when I saw them.
You don’t see them? Well they are there and they are here too.
They see us and they report back to headquarters on the 5G Honker network.. Take a closer look at the photo below. Do you see those black necks? Yup! That’s them. The Geese Police.
They also do regular aerial surveillance. I did not take any photos of them in the air as they have ways of stopping that. They plop bomb with nasty stuff onto people taking photos of them from below.
We are in Day 7 of our isolation. And this post notwithstanding we are still sane.

Ah but you are in the USA are you not? It is the RCMP who have hired the geese and they are Canada geese so they could not refuse. I think you are safe from their spying but….maybe…..

I dunno, but the DNR (department of natural resources) in Michigan seems to have a fondness for Canada geese. Hard to tell. They are most likely spying on the mute swans, which the DNR doesn’t like because they are not a native species. Seems like nobody can cut a break nowadays.

The Canadian goose population is moving through our locale on their way north. We actually have a small group which over-winters here. Our wetlands area is the big attraction I love seeing them fly in formation…an example of co-operation at its best.

They do look like Uboat periscopes poking up out of the corn. The geese at least seem to be thriving, there seem to be more every year.

They are certainly not an endangered species. But I like to see them flying off I their v formation. We must be a gathering point in this area because I the fall and spring there are literally thousands of them .

Yes indeed. On our walk yesterday I could hear a lot of honking and I wondered where it was coming from. Then I looked into the corn fields and there they were almost concealed!😁
