Monday Minstrel: Equestrians Shopping!

I was at the Winter Equestrian Festival yesterday. It was a busy Saturday; competition in the Grand Hunter ring, jumpers in the International ring and activity and competition in the other rings . There are 12 rings and also warm up rings so it was BUSY!

I was there to collect boots from Der Dau boots that had been in for repair after six years of hard work. There are shops lining a walkway. Or should I say a golf cart way. To be fair I think that some of the golf carts had just been conveniently parked there and their owner/drivers may not have been shopping. Or maybe there were as the shops were all busy!

Then as I walked over the bridge that goes above the riders ‘in gate’ to the International ring I saw these. Is this what equestrians wear when they are not equestrianing?

Have a good week everyone!

Lordy! That looks like beachwear for skinny teengers!

Yes I can see what you mean. I have passed that shop a few times this year and I usually make some crack about the mannequins getting a sun burn!

Oh I have never heard the term “a sun bum” before, I like it!

LOL. Imagine if an equestrian rider forgot their uniform or lost it in transit, and had to wear these.

Haha! That would be very uncomfortable!

I hope that is not equestrian wear. If si, I am definitely out of sync!

hahahaha oh my goodness…if that is what equestrians where, I am clearly not a very good equestrian.

HaHA! I’m sure you are a good equestrian. I am not wearing anything like those outfits. Not now and not even decades ago when I was really young!😃
