Hello Dear Humans! I think you know that Ma Leueen has been away. I miss her of course but, let me tell you, I have been having a lot of fun. And I have video proof! Just after Ma Leueen went away on her holiday Assistant Trainer Lynsey rode me in a lesson with Coach Belinda. Well, we did lots of dressage things. Things that I am pretty good at . Assistant Lynsey was very impressed and told Coach Belinda she thought I was a “very cool horse”. And then, she told Coach Belinda that one of the best things about me was that I could be a star in the dressage ring one day, and the next day go out on the forest trails . “Ah Ha!” I thought to myself. “That means we are going out to the forest tomorrow.”
And we did! Here is a little video for you. I would like you to notice that I am cantering along and when Assistant Lysney says “whoa” I come right back to a nice little trot. I do this promptly because Humans do NOT like it if we horses just run off with them on board.
I also got out on the forest trails with Groom Lexi. She took some video as well. Here we are going along the trail I was on with Ma Leueen a couple of weeks ago. Do you remember all the leaves still on the trees? Well now they are all on the ground! You can hear my hooves rustling through them.
And finally I want you to know that, even though Ma Leueen was away, I still got my carrots. Here is a video of Groom Lexi giving me a nice carrot before I go back to my stall. You may notice I am wearing my winter lounging suit and it has a throat warming neck on it which is nice as the weather has turned very cold. I would like to say Thank You to Assistant Trainer Lynsey and Groom Lexi for taking videos to record our forest rides. I really enjoyed them and I’m glad I could share them with you.
