Well Dear Humans……at last I am being allowed to speak on the blob about the show when we did our dancing! Ma Leueen told me she had already spoken about it, and put up a video, and then another blob post about thanking all the other humans, and then she had to put up a blob post about a photo someone had taken at the show that showed my braids from the side….. well good grief! I thought I was never going to get a chance to speak at all. But I think it is worth hearing my side of the story don’t you?
First of all there is a time when Ma Leueen is not at the show. That is in the night time. I had my friend Serry in the stall next to me and across the hall were Phar Lay and Dave. We kid Phar Lay and tell him he has a name like a famous race horse who was called Phar Lap. Phar Lay just shakes his head when we do that. Dave is just a young guy and he said he hadn’t been to a show before so Serry and I told him it would all be fine.
Our friend Barn Manager Carl came at night to give us some hay. I always appreciate that. It was pretty cool so you can see I have my warmer pajamas on.
The day the show started I was pretty excited. This was going to be our dancing test. Ma Leueen and I had worked hard on preparing for this and now it was to be our first time dancing in the arena in front of the judge.
Here I am in the warm up just before going in to do our dancing. Coach Belinda is there in a coat with her riding boots on and beside her is Sugar Man Dave who always has sugar cubes for me at shows. Groom Lexi and Assistant Lynsey are taking off my boots as those are not allowed in the arena for our dancing test.
So….I know Ma Leueen has told you that we had some problems with the music. But it’s not my job to sort that stuff out so I just waited for Ma Leueen to tell me what to do. The first day was OK but the second day was the best. I was really proud of myself. I think I danced just as well as that famous Fred A Stair person!
After the show I got two days to just chill in my paddock and hang out in my stall. And then Ma Leueen and I went out to the forest. It was great as now it is too cool for any bugs. My friend and neighbor Fluffy , who was ridden by Assistant Lynsey, came with us and he enjoyed it too. Take a look at this trail. Doesn’t it look nice?
