Hello Dear Humans! Well ! I have a story to tell you. We have a bridge in our arena. Yup! You may ask why would we need that? I have no clue and none of the other horses do either but the Humans are all over it. Coach Belinda asked Barn Manager Carl to make a bridge so that the horses could walk over it. He built it and we horses came and we walked.
I was suspicious at first but then Ma Leueen led me over and I thought “Ok, whatever.” Then she got on and I walked over it with her riding me. And then coach Belinda gave me a treat. So that was easy! All the horses had to come in and be led over this bridge and then they were ridden over the bridge. Some thought it was a daft idea. My friend Feng who lives opposite me thought it was a dumb idea and he decided to give the Humans his imitation of an elephant on a pedestal. Ha Ha! But that was not what the Humans wanted apparently.
So at night we horses have all been talking and laughing about this bridge.
And remember we horses listen to the Humans all the time so we know the names of lots of Bridge songs and movies and stuff like that. This is what our chatter about the bridge sounded like.
“I told my Human I thought it was a Bridge Too Far! HaHA!
“Yeah! I think maybe its like the Bridge over the River Kahwi.” “Don’t be daft man! Kahwi was that basket ball guy.” “Oh…. well it was a movie as well. Whatever!”
Do they think we have a river in the arena? We don’t need a Bridge over any Troubled Waters in our arena. HAHAHA!
Maybe its a Bridge of Spies! Nah…we don’t have any spies in the arena.
“Hay! I’ve heard the Humans have a Covered Bridges in Madison Country.” “Say whaaaaat ? Covered bridge….. heck no! I wouldn’t go into a covered bridge.” “Me neither.” “Good thing Barn Manager Carl didn’t build one of those.” HaHaHA!
Well I hope our bridge won’t go falling down like London Bridge. HAHAHA!
No, but we better make sure no one Burns the Bridge! Whoa! No talk about any burning please.
This arena bridge is a real Bridge to Nowhere. HAHAHAHA!
ShhhShhhh! The Humans are coming for night check.
Then we are quiet and just mosey around in our stalls and knicker a bit to show we are looking forward to our night time hay. We have had some good laughs about that Bridge. For good measure here is a video of me walking over that Bridge to Nowhere!
