Hello Dear Humans, As some of you may know Ma Leueen had a colic episode. We horses get that when our insides get mixed up and we get very upset and sometimes have to go to the hospital. Well, that is what happened to Ma Leueen.
I knew something was wrong. She told me she would see me the next day and then she didn’t show up. Well I knew that wasn’t right. She always shows up when she says she is going to . Then I heard Barn Manager Carl say that she had to go to the hospital. That got me worried. I had to go to the hospital once and it was NOT fun at all.
I waited and waited for her to come. A few days went by. Trainer Lynsey took me out for a gallop on the forest loop. Then Coach Belinda rode me and then….. Ma Leueen was there. I was so happy to see her! I am not a snuggley sort of horse but I did put my head on her shoulder and let her know I was happy to see her.
I guess Ma Leueen was still recovering because Coach Belinda rode me a couple of times and Ma Leueen came to watch. I liked that as I could show her how good I can look when I want to.
Then today Ma Leueen took me out for a ride. We went out beyond the paddocks and I thought that maybe we were going to go up to the big grass field. But we went straight and then I knew we were going to my favorite trail…the goat trail.
We have had a lot of rain. Too much if you ask me! But today was sunny and nice and everything in the forest is so green. I was so happy to have Ma Leueen back again and to know she was ok.
Ma Leueen has asked me to say Thank You to all the Humans who sent her good wishes.She appreciated that.

Thank you Xenia Human. I am sp happy she is back and I think she is too. She has told me she has to be on a new diet with no forage. That would be difficult for a horse but you humans eat differently than we do. Please give my best to Eivor and Pearl. 🐴

You are right Diana Human hospitals are not fun at all. The forest is looking beautiful isn’t it! And no bugs yet. We will be into the bug season soon but Ma Leueen has an extra tail fly swatter that she uses which helps. Best to you and your trusty steeds.
