“We got through the summer!” This was a comment I heard on a sheep station in central Australia years ago. I thought that in many parts of Canada we talk about ‘getting through the winter’. When I heard the Australian speaking about getting through the summer I thought I would rather ‘get through’ heat than cold. I know I have not been in Florida in the summer but his past winter there were times when locals said it was almost as hot and humid as it is in the summer. Well I’ll take it. Here are some photos from my winter season in Florida. All these photos were taken by Joanna Jodko the official photographer at White Fences Equestrian.

Every one of these photos has an abundance of green leaves, palm trees, colored blooms on the trees and sunshine! Yes, it was hot but I would rather have that. Fortunately Biasini does not mind the heat at all and performs well in it. We are both hot weather creatures!
I would choose hot climate but I always end up in cold locations!

Yes can see flowers in this stunning pictures of you and Biasini ma’am, but in hot places like ours it is very difficult to maintain plants in summer. Everywhere it will be burning.

I can understand that. Florida gets very hot in the summer but it also has a lot of rain so things grow.

They are very good about excusing jackets. I think they do not want riders passing out and falling off their horses!π
