Monday Minstrel: Dressage Humor

After the splendid dressage at the FEI World Equestrian Games Tryon I thought we could have a bit of  humor.  The first photo is one that has actually happened to me. It happened when I was a teenager riding in a three way event and in the dressage phase my horse ducked down and grabbed a bite of the flower arrangement!

During WEG there were large screen TVs with the live feed. I watched quite a bit of the reining so I can see why this sliding stop would indicate a talent for reining!

    Hehe, these made me chuckle. xx I went to the stables today! No horse riding today, but I met Ruby who I shall be sitting on next week. 🙂 They are seemed really nice, can’t believe how patient and well behaved all the horses were. xxx

      Horses are mjuch smarter than many humans realize. They understand us so well and for those who are dealing with illness or disability the horses are more patient than many humans are. I look forward to hearign how it goes when you get on Ruby!

      They do and when they are 1200 pounds they can demonstrate conclusively! Thanks for commenting!

    Leueen do you have any idea who did this photo of Belinda? I thought it was Cealy’s but she said it isn’t. I was hoping to use it for an ad collage due today for Horse Sport. Could it be one you took? If so could we use it?
