What did my daughter give me for Christmas this year?
A nice white coffee or tea mug with “Blogging Day” in gold lettering and…..a glass bottle with relaxing lavender bath salts. I was delighted.
I looked at her and said: “So, after a day of blogging I will need the relaxing bath salts. Right?”Β “Pretty much.” she replied. “And for relaxing after your riding as well.”
My daughter is the director of marketing and social media at a fertility consultancy. So she knows something about blogging and all that it entails. And she knows what my winter training (five days a week) and competition program as a rider entails as well.
She has equipped me well for both the riding and the blogging.
Happy Monday everyone! Have a good week!
Anne I am envying you for that nice cup lettered as “Blogging Day”.

Thank you. I think you saw the photo of her as a little girl on FB. She has been through some tough times in her adult life and has come through a strong and independent “warrior” woman. I’m very proud of her. I will pass on your good wishes to her.

Thatβs nice! I also got a mug for Christmas with my little daughter on. I have it at work and look at it 5000 times a day π

What a lovely thoughtful kind daughter you have. It doesn’t surprise me though, the apple never falls far from the tree mate π

She is a wonderful woman and daughter. When she was a teenager she was ‘something else’ but we survived that and it great to see her now and be her friend and Mother.
