Monday Minstrel: Quote-William Shakespeare

He’s of the colour of the nutmeg. And of the heat of the ginger…. he is pure air and fire; and the dull elements of earth and water never appear in him, but only in patient stillness while his rider mounts him; he is indeed a horse, and all other jades you may call beasts.”

― William Shakespeare, Henry V

Air and Fire :this is my horse Biasini and he is also the patient horse that stands so patiently while I mount up. I have had both hips replaced and I do not exactly spring into the saddle. But my air and fire horse knows this and waits for me to clamber on. This photo was taken in the Prix St. George test at the start of the extended canter. This is his favorite movement!

He’s gorgeous! Did you happen to see the recent picture of Queen Elizabeth riding in just a headscarf at 90? She must have the same kind of trust in her horse.
