I have taken up Rupali’s challenge to post a favorite travel photo, no explanation, one photo a day for ten days. I am not nominating other bloggers but why not join me. I know lots of bloggers have some wonderful travel photos that we would enjoy seeing. Mine will all be horse related. This is my last post for this challenge and I’m sure most of you will be able to tell where it is and when it was taken. Leave me a comment if you know! Thanks Rupali for this challenge it has been great fun .

Wonderful poster and so cool to attend the Olympics!!

The London Olympics were the experience of a lifetime. The British winning the Team Gold medal in Dressage. They have never done that before and then Charlotte Dujardin winning the individual gold. Magic. Also everything was so well organized with the Underground and the signage to direct us and everywhere volunteers to help us find our way or to find shops. I remember being on the Underground and when we came into a station people were cheering. We knew Andy Murray was playing at Wimbledon for the tennis gold medal. Someone in our carriage yelled : “Did he win?” “Yes !” came the answer and everyone in our carriage started clapping and cheering. The whole city had such a terrific atmosphere. I will never forget it.

Was that a poster you saw in London while attending the Olympic Games? Marvelous illustration in any case.

You are right! That was in the Underground during the 2012 Olympics. I thought it was great that Equestrian had made an appearance in a poster.
